NG-Aime

NG-AIME is a unique and state-of-the-art environment for the digitization of aeronautical data in AIXM 5.x format, which enables to create, validate & verify, publish, view, and share digital aeronautical information. Our platform allows a smooth transition from AIS to AIM, including support of SWIM services.

NG-AIME is a set of sub platforms handling digital aeronautical management correctly & comprehensively. Its structured modular architecture enables NG Aviation to provide tailored solutions for each aviation stakeholder.

Integrated environment

The, solution consists of multiple modules that handle much more than just the raw AIXM 5.1 data. In order to maximize capability of digital aeronautical data for various stakeholders, NG-AIME environment incorporates various supporting modules, such as Web Viewer, Workflow Management System, User Management System, Data Originator Portal and System Monitoring.  These ensure the desired level of data quality and traceability as well as compliance with international standards. The fundamental principle is to provide stakeholders with a full transition from paper/analogue to a digital environment, delivering all the benefits of digital data use. A collaborative environment enables full integration with our NG-AIME desktop application. NG-AIME is a user & process-oriented environment that instantly increases effectiveness at AIM departments and Data Centers. Assigned tasks can be handled directly from the web interface as well as via the NG-AIME Desktop application in an interconnected way. Using multiple displays, the overview of the tasks via the available dashboard and task list provides an unmatched user-friendly aeronautical data management environment.

It enables easy & interactive integration with our NG-AIME desktop application. NG-AIME MODULES

NG-AIME Web Portal

Our web portal provides access to all web-based modules of the NG-AIME ecosystem. It acts as a one-stop-shop where users can browse between available applications based on their allocated rights. The benefit of this approach lies in quick accessibility, single sign-on and integration. The web portal includes an AIXM 5.1 Web Viewer, Workflow Management System, Data Originator Web Portal, User Management System, System Monitoring. Development of integrated eAIP is in progress, with the final product launch scheduled for Q4 2021.

NG-AIME Desktop

The desktop application is built natively on AIXM 5.1, supporting the full temporality model. Its intuitive and smart user interface allows easy management and distribution of digital aeronautical data natively in AIXM 5.1. The full temporality support enables the user to view historical data values, current state, and crucial future planning activities.
All digital data sets (AMDB, AIP, IFP, Obstacles) as described in the latest version of ICAO Annex 15 and PANS-AIM doc 10066 can be produced, managed, and shared via SWIM, third party APIs and other file sharing methods.

NG-AIME Web Viewer

AIME Web Viewer allows users to browse AIXM data through a light web application for maximum performance without demanding hardware requirements. The user experience is fueled by a minimalist graphical interface and 2D/3D viewing modes

Portal for Data Originators

Our integrated environment provides a tool that allows Data Originators without broader AIXM knowledge to initiate aeronautical data change requests using forms with important fields, multiple attachments and more. Using our workflow management tool, all steps and request are traced into its finest details, and data is archived and accessible for key stakeholders through secure interfaces.

Workflow & User Management

The purpose of workflow management or change control management is to facilitate data quality and traceability during aeronautical data management processes. User management ensures that each user has access to different system’s functions and components based on the assigned user rights. The ecosystem includes a COTS user management system with Active Directory and LDAP support.

System Monitoring

The purpose of this tool is to provide system administrators with the possibility to monitor each system in real-time via the web in a user-friendly environment. Administrators can receive automatic reports and automatic notifications of failures via email. The system supports cloud-based architectures as well as the basic legacy hardware environment.

NG-AIME DIGITAL NOTAM

Digital NOTAM is a set of data containing operationally relevant temporal updates made available through the defined distribution channels (e.g. SWIM). It is intended to be read and processed by automated systems; therefore, it is coded and modelled in AIXM 5.1. The currently published Digital NOTAM Specification 1.0 will be replaced with Specification 2.0.
The Digital NOTAM service is fully integrated with the proposed native AIXM system and shares the same HMI as well as all technical components described in the technical architecture part of this document. It is a configurable extension to the AIXM system.
